🏆 About the Project

The Taça UA – Glicínias Plaza is the largest informal sports competition in Portugal, promoted by the Academic Association of the University of Aveiro (AAUAv). With over 7,000 participants across 20 sports, it stands as a key part of student life at the University of Aveiro.

The Taça UA Optimization and Digitalization Project aims to modernize and centralize the competition's management and communication through a digital platform.

Our solution will enable:

• Access to schedules, results, and rankings in real time;

• Availability of general and specific regulations for each sport;

• An administrative interface for the Organizing Committee;

• A solid technological foundation for future features such as team and player registration management.

Through this digital transformation, Taça UA takes a decisive step toward efficiency, transparency, and accessibility in its organization.
